Fan Not Working
- A build-up of dust or particles jamming the fan. Turn off power to the fan and remove the plug from the power supply. Remove the fan and see if it spins freely. If not, clean the area around the fan blades. Put it down, keep fingers away and try powering on the fan again.IF it resolves the problem, disconnect power supply and reinsert fan making sure the air-flow is going away form the compost toilet.
- Faulty connection in transformer. Turn off the power supply and remove the transformer from the power point. Some transformers have a voltage adjustment dial on the underside. Take a small screw driver and move the dial one way, and then back again. Plug it back in and test to see if the fan works.
- Failed fan or transformer. Either will need replacing if it has failed. Best to bring both transformer and fan to our office for testing or call us on 66844131 for on-site repairs.
